The profile form takes about ten minutes to complete. You can update your information later or remove your profile when you choose.

As an independent tutor, you are responsible for:
- Setting your prices, sending invoices, and collecting payments
- Managing your own contracts with students
- Scheduling and rescheduling tutoring sessions
- Planning lessons and choosing your teaching approach
- Managing your taxes and applicable local requirements
- Handling refunds or rescheduling when you cancel a session
What MatheCord Handles
MatheCord is responsible for:
- Hosting your tutor profile and keeping active profiles available
- Making your profile discoverable to students through the directory
- Monitoring and reviewing tutor and student communication through the ticket system
- Managing the community and providing practice worksheets
- Moderating workshops and helping tutors promote them
- Investigating reports of fraud or inappropriate behavior
Listing Your Profile
Tutor profiles are available with a MatheTutor plan, and every plan starts with a free trial. Sign in with Discord below to create your profile. Each subscription includes one tutor profile, and the profile is automatically removed if the subscription lapses.

How Students Reach You
Students Search and Review Profiles
Students can narrow the directory by topic, price, language, time zone, and availability before opening your full profile.
A Support Ticket Opens
When a student wants to contact you, they enter your name into a support ticket. The bot adds you to the ticket and notifies you.
Continue the Conversation in the Ticket
Use the ticket to discuss the student's needs, agree on a time, and share your booking link. The MatheCord team monitors and reviews ticket conversations, providing a clear communication record for both tutors and students.
